#1. Ashy tried out for next years cheer squad for 7th grade. It was a week long clinic (Monday-Thurs) followed by tryouts on Friday. Both cheer and dance team tried out together so combined there were 120 girls. By the end of the week there were just over 80 and I believe that about 40 of those were 6th grade girls trying out for the 7th grade cheer squad. Only 10 girls made it....Ashy was one of them. We waited around for hours for them to post the list at 9pm! Here she is after she saw her name on the top of the list!!! Yay! Happy Face.
#2. I made a broom stand all by itself in my teeny, tiny kitchen. Hurrah! (I'm easily entertained)
#3. Brinton went back to school just in time! One of his drawings was selected to be featured in the Student Art Exhibit at Memorial Auditorium. He was so super excited because he LOVES to draw more than anything. I wish I would've taken a picture of him next to it.
#4. Julianna LOVES to dance. This year she is on the Company Prep team and she attended her first competition. The team performed 2 pieces, one jazz and one hip hop. They won Diamond Elite Top First for the Jazz routine and first over all in their age division. They won Elite Top First for the hip hop an second overall for their age division. Not bad for 5-6 year olds! (Okay so this one is more than one picture...)
#5 Elise participates in the school talent show every year. Usually she does a little dance but this year she surprised me when she said she wanted to sing! She chose a Selena Gomez song "Naturally" and she rocked it out! She has so much confidence!!
