Project 365....

My friend Lisa introduced me to Project 365 and after reading the concept I knew I wanted to participate. The kit was less then $40 and it was so simple to utilize I figured that this would help make up for my lack of scrapbooking over the last year or so.

Well such is my luck the kit is SOLD OUT!

Probably for-like-EVER!

So I'm stuck. I'm still really excited about the project but now instead of the awesomely, awesome under $40 kit, including album and EVERYTHING I needed, I've got nothing, nada, zip, zilch, zero...you get the picture. I got all hyped up in just a few short minutes (because believe me the hype was built up so much on the website) just to have my dreams shot down. Oh wo is me (insert frowny face here)

What's a girl to do??

Well, I've been taking my pictures everyday and journaling each night. I made a folder in my computer titled "Project 365" and I have it all organized and dated, just no where to put it all. So I decided to create a blog!

daybyday365

My idea is to print a blog book at the end of the 365 days.

Are you doing Project365, too? Were you able to get the kit or are you doing something "on your own"? I'd love to hear everyone's ideas about this. If you aren't doing Project365, you should try it....who knows it could be fun!

Exact same thing happened to me. I'm doing a blog of a picture every day and then I'm going to print it at the end of the year. Sorry- I was bummed too!

I guess I was one of the lucky ones who got a kit. I think I would do the blog thing and print it if I didn't get the kit.

That is such a cool idea! I love your new blog. That stinks you couldn't get the kit but very cool you are going to do it in your own way. I think I may attempt to do a blog one myself.

I agree that it stinks that you couldn't get the kit but I personally like your idea better! I took up your challenge and made one too! I figured since I am on the computer daily anyway, I would do a better job of keeping it up to date. (Plus printing pictures just doesn't happen in this family!) Did I say I LOVE your idea?!?

I started the same type of thing last year and lasted like two days! I am so bad! Good luck to you!

I've heard about this, but I know myself well enough to know that I'll forget to take pictures occasionally, so I like that Becky from your link said it's ok to cheat.
Thanks for the encouragement, I think I'll try it.
