1. GET UP BRIGHT & EARLY FOR A SUPER SEAT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PARADE ROUTE
(We got up neither bright nor early, but we did snag a good seat at the beginning of the parade route...mostly because after parking a mile away it seemed like a good place to stop)
2. ENJOY A PARADE...COMPLETE WITH ATLEAST 4,512,145,213,215 MARCHING BANDS...ATLEAST
3. SLEEP THROUGH THE ENTIRE PARADE; SAFE IN YOUR MOMMY'S ARMS
4. OVERHEAR FUN CONVERSATIONS SUCH AS:
Elise: I WANT ONE OF THOSE PONIES!
Ashlynne: WE CAN'T....IT WOULD POOP ALL OVER THE YARD
5. COLLECT CANDY, FRISBEES, RULERS, FLIERS, PAPER FANS, WATER BOTTLES, PENCILS, BALLOONS AND ALL SORTS OF STUFF FROM EACH OF THE 160 FLOATS AND PASSERBYS IN THE PARADE
6. IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE PARADE WHEN EVERYONE IS GETTING UP TO LEAVE AND FORGETTING TO TAKE THEIR TRASH WITH THEM, DO YOUR PART AND HELP KEEP OLATHE CLEAN!
7. CHOW DOWN ON A SMOKED TURKEY LEG
8. GO FLYING...
Elise rode the swings and I could barely watch her...she was so happy, I was terrified! Afterward, Brinton & Ashlynne decided to ride the HIGH FLYING ride...I left them with Miah at this point...I couldn't take watching them it made my stomach spin in circles!!
9. PLAY WITH ONE OF THE MANY FREE BALLOONS HANDED OUT BY CAMPAIGNING POLITICIANS
10. SMILE BECAUSE YOU CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT ALL AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!! :)
