Today, in honor of Earth Day let me introduce you to our "Kinder-Garden."
Elise is my little Daisy Scout. She works hard to earn her patches and generally does it with a happy face.
Recently, the Daisies have been working hard to make the world a better place and earn their "rose" colored petal. Elise participated in 3 service projects picking up debris on the school grounds, collecting shoes for "Soles for Souls", and cleaning up the "Kinder-Garden" at her Elementary School. The girls dug up weeds, planted new flowers & plants, laid down peat moss and mulch and then watered the garden. It was HARD work but I seriously haven't seen Elise smile so much while doing a "chore."
