We recently joined the Prairie Life Center. Now, initially I thought Prairie Life Center? Is that where farmers go to get fit for milking cows?? But no it's actually a really great gym that offers something for the whole family. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool has a water slide and water toys for the kids...it's great! The kids get free swim lessons with our membership and they have this great Kids Center where they can go and play while we work out. I must say that is probably my "must have" workout favorite because I actually now have an opportunity to work out! I know the kids are being looked after and they are only a few steps away if I want to check in on them. It's not just a "daycare" type place either! They have tons of structured activities like arts & Crafts, sports, even dance!!

This post is supposed to be about me though, right?! Well after having Liam I sure could lose some of the extra "flub" I packed on so I have been going twice a week for the last month. I'm not one of those people who can just make up my own routine using treadmills and ab crunchers so I go to classes and have other people tell me what to do. On Mondays I take a pilates class which totally kills my abs every week (probably cause I don't have any!) and on Wednesdays I take a ZUMBA class with Ashlynne. I love that class because not only is it super super fun but I get to share it with Ashlynne and she is building a good foundation of being physically fit!
