After weeks and weeks of waiting William "Liam" Conor Bowles finally arrived yesterday April 26th, 2008 at 5:33pm after a beautiful home birth. He weighed in at a whopping 9lbs. 9 ozs and he was 21 3/4 inches long. After only 1 hr of active labor (and too many false starts over the last weeks to mention)we feel so blessed to hold our little Liam in our arms. Jeremiah came to visit for the weekend due to a business meeting on Monday, he arrived at the house at 2:00 pm and labor started shortly thereafter. I guess our little boy was waiting until his daddy arrived to make his big entrance into the world. We called the kids in Kansas immediatley after and they were able to hear his sweet little cries. As you can imagine they are all extremely excited to meet their new baby brother on Friday when we fly home! Elise was disappointed that he did not have red hair (I'm not sure why she thought he would) but was excited that he was chubby, Julianna was happy that she is now a "big girl." Brinton and Ashlynne can't wait to help out with the baby.

OH congratulations Alida and Jeremiah! Congrats to all the kids as well! Liam is adorable, of course. I guess he is going to be Daddy's Little Buddy waiting for Daddy to be there! So glad he is here sweetie. Can't wait for more pictures.
