Memoirs of A Lida...

I've seen this on EVERYONE's blogs lately, and for fear that no one has any memories of me since I am oh-so-forgetable ;) I hadn't yet posted it myself. However, I thought I'd give it a try and if the response is pitiful I will delete this post all together and make believe it never happened :) Okay here goes...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, ANYTHING you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

:)

You're silly thinking nobody has memories of you. Of course we do! I remember meeting you and thinking she is so nice. I remember you singing at the ward Christmas program and I didn't even know you sang at all. You were so good! I remember you standing next to you in line for dinner at some ward party and talking about Julianna and Anneliese and you looked so good for having her. Me, not so much! I remember you helping me get Anneliese signed up for dance and I was so grateful because you got her signed up early. I remember you telling me about being pregnant with Liam and thinking you were so tough! I remember you telling you were moving at Garaghty's house and thinking you are such a GENUINELY NICE person and I was sad because I like having those people in my life. Little did I know that you would still be in my life because YOU got me into blogging!

How's that for a few memories! We miss you but we're happy you're so happy there!

SOOO forgettable, NOT! My memories are all good ones. I couldn't have asked for better friends than you, Wade and Ms. Benz, especially during such a hard time in my life. I just remember how much you truly seemed to care about me and stood up for me when others questioned my decisions. Thanks for being there when I really needed you and just being someone I could call a friend.

My LEAST favorite memory is of your 1st day in our ward...I was conducting RS and totally messed up your last name. But, you forgave me and were my friend anyway. Ahhhh
Favorite memory would probably be watching our kids run around catching fireflies in Kansas (or was it Missouri?) this summer. Thanks again for making the long drive out to see us!

Totally not forgettable! Bite your tongue woman. Mine will be short and sweet ~ enjoying, cheering one another on, listening and rejoicing in our Sept. 05 babies together. Love ya mama! Oh yeah and PW SM!

i'm so glad your little memory of me was not traumatizing! Apparently I am good at putting my foot in my mouth.
My memory of you today is all that time we spent in the mothers room at church. Nursing our little ones. Then talking about putting the girls in dance and you were interested but didn't want to rain on "our" parade. Silly girl. I talked you in to signing up with us and look what happened!

We don't know each other, other than our blogs. It's almost like we're pen palls! I remember when you wrote on my blog that you thought I had the coolest T.T.A.’s. on a day I felt a bit lacking. It made my day!

ONE memory???? I was going to post about you breaking my car... but I think I've used that one in another thing like this before. So I think I'll put your first day and Provo High when you showed up to bowling and sat next to me and were trying SO hard to get me to be your friend. And I told everyone not to talk to you! LOL... sorry about that. But you deserved it for calling me flat. MUAH!

well, Sarah, I guess my "trying sooo hard" worked cause we've been best friends for like 13 years now...so the moral of this story is BE RELENTLESS!!! lol! And you were flat...sorry... :-P

The only time we met was when Daryl and I visited you in Las Vegas before we were married. We were only there a short time, but the gilrs played so great together! You were a gracious host and so fun to talk to and the boys reminissed. :) Hope to meet up again someday!

I remember one Halloween your entire family was all dressed up.I thought that was cute. Also, when you were prego with Julianna we were in the library doing some PTA thing and you said you looked like Mike from Monsters, Inc. I thought that was SO funny! You were so skinny with this little belly, very cute.

I remember waiting for the bus our frosh and sophmore year. I remember you asking me details after you witnessed my forst kiss. I remember that weird old boyfriend of yours (nate, was that his name?). I remember your birthday party at the nuskin building with your brothers cooking for like 30 kids (you were turning 15, I think, because I think I just turned 16).

I have lots of memories of you in random places. But the one that stick s out the most is when we were at girls camp as leaders and we did the little commercial skits. and we did the my buddy one and I think it was Nicole who carried you around like her doll. that still cracks me up.
