Branson....

Elise's birthday was the same day as Jeremiah's Christmas Party for ITT Tech which happened to be in Springfield about an hour from Branson. My dad had been staying with us for a month and was set to fly out from Springfield the next day so we decided to stay in Branson overnight. Dad watched the kids for us while we attended the Christmas Party and then the next day in Branson we had some time to kill before we had to leave to take my dad to the airport. We decided to go on a scenic drive by Table Rock Lake and we passed a sign for the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery. It sounded fun enough, it was a pretty nice day and it was FREE! They have some animals and displays inside and then you can go outside to the hatchery and feed the fish. It was incredible how many fish there were and they would all jump on top of each other to get to the food. We spent a good hour there just watching them!







We still had about an hour before we needed to go so we drove over to the Dixie Stampede to see if the horses were in their stables. THEY WERE! YAY! So many beautiful horses and it was FREE! There was one horse going a little nuts in it's stable so we avoided him but all in all it was kind of fun seeing the horses out of the arena just munching on some hay.




I have to figure out a way to get into some of these pictures one day....I promise I was there! HAHA!
