Family Pics 2011....
Prior to Brinton's surgery I wanted to have some family pictures taken of all of us together and some of him alone. There wasn't really a lot of time to plan for these photos and a small budget for what we wanted. We really lucked out and a sweet, sweet, wonderful, darling girl in my ward was able to take them a couple of weeks ago. I must say that I'm pretty happy with how they turned out considering she had to try and get 8 people to look at her and smile all at the same time. That is a HUGE challenge and she totally pulled it off. I kind of wish Aidan hadn't decided to crack his head on the fireplace 2 hours before pictures but I'm sure it'll make a superb story some day in the future.

Alida, you have a beautiful family! LOVE the photos. Isn't it always somewhat miraculous to get so many good photos when we have as many as we do? These are fabulous!

Honestly, my kids are great photographers! I don't think I'll ever hire a professional again! I will cross my fingers that I can find someone as good as them to take ours - can't have a family photo if one of them is holding the camera :)
