A New Brinton...

Brinton has gone months without a haircut. Actually I don't think he's had a haircut since January when he decided to take a razor to his hair and "shave" some of it off! Finally I just couldn't stand it any longer, the mop had to go.

At the parade on Saturday he keep flipping his head to get his hair out of his eyes, he could barely see the floats! I decided right then and there that the second the parade was over we were getting rid of the shaggy, moppy mess on top of his head for once and for all. We drove down to campus, went in the first little hair shop I could find and we waited for a bit...

and as soon as he got in the chair we took one last "BEFORE" shot...

and then it was time to get down to business...

And here we have "AFTER"

For the rest of the day he kept touching his head and looking at himself in the mirror. At bedtime he said, "I feel like a new Brinton mom....and it feels good"

I do that to my boys too. I let them grow it, thinking it will be cute. Then I can stand it and it ALL goes. He looks great!

Unfortunately (?) my boys are at the mercy of my scissors! We experimented with styles but the shaggy look has never been an option :)

Isn't it funny how a haircut makes them look so much older, all of a sudden? I think he looks so handsome.
