I absolutely ADORE the trees outside our home. We weren't in this home last Fall to enjoy the beautiful bright oranges, reds, and yellows the leaves are turning. The tree at our old house just turned crunchy, brown, limp and dead. Not much to enjoy. Now, everytime I step outside I have to smile because this Autumn is just so very perfect and these trees make me so happy.
I forgot how much I missed having 4 separate seasons. I LOVE IT! So this year I've really been taking time to enjoy all that Autumn has to offer. While my neighbors have been busily raking and bagging I've been letting the leaves fall to the ground and cover the grass in blankets of orangey, yellowish goodness. I've just enjoyed the change of seasons so much this year, I figured I'll get around to raking and bagging it all soon enough.
Yesterday, Brinton took it upon himself to rake my lovely leaves into neat little piles....Without.Me.Telling.Him.To.Do.It!!! Isn't my son the greatest?! He took so much joy in it, too. So now I'm going to have to add "Watching my son rake leaves and enjoy every minute of it" to my "THINGS I LOVE ABOUT FALL" list.

Isn't Fall just beautiful? I love having four seasons to enjoy all year round. Two seasons would be so boring to me. I'm glad you have those lovely trees with all their leaves to enjoy. Brinton is wonderful to do the raking without asking!!! Pass some of that over here please!
We moved into a new house where they are no trees and it is sad! I want some leaves to rake up and jump in!!
