I was upstairs cleaning the girls room this afternoon, making beds, organinzing, picking up laundry that should've been placed in the hamper. At one point I began organizing the dollhouse (because there was dolls and furniture ALL OVER the place) and I put all the pieces in their respective places. Of course, when Julianna saw how hard I worked to organize it she decided to play with it and re-organize it all.
A little while later I noticed she moved the mommy from the living room to here:

Wow! WAKE UP CALL! Maybe she is telling me something...
So I hereby announce my COMPUTER FAST. Starting tomorrow morning I'm going without the computer for a full week. I need to reconnect with reality a little....and with my 3 year old.

But as soon as the week is over you'll post, right?!?!
Good for you for picking up on her feelings.
You're obviously a darling mom, I love to see what your family is doing.
That's funny! Have a fun break!
Cute! I think we could all use a little fast!
You're so awesome Alida! I think I could use a computer fast too! It's so hard not to get sucked in. You're a great example!
yikes!!! That is too funny and intuitive on her end! Good for you and I can't wait to hear about your week when or IF you come back.
Awww I'll miss your posts but of course I can understand. I think a huge part for us SAHMs is that this is the place where we can have adult conversations and reach out to friends. It's hard not to turn it on. Some days I wonder what the heck I did and others I'm really good about only getting on in the morning before the kiddos are up while I eat my breakfast in peace and at night after they go to bed. I think it's all about finding the balance. Have fun this week! I know your kiddos will! Oh and I promise I'm working on your project! Now that the holidays have passed, I can finally get to it!
Ha- I'll see you back in a couple of days. Just kidding! Enjoy your time with your family. I'll miss you!
She is such a cutie. You're doing great by turning it off... I wish I could unplug for a while.
I would love to know what it is about a clean room that attracts kids? My kids will always haul their crap to the cleanest place in the house so they can 'play' (which means mess it up).
I can understand your need for a blogcation. Blogland can be addictive. I've tried to curtail my online time lately too.
