3/4 Cup of flour
3/4 Teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup of milk

1. Preheat oven 325 degrees. Line cupcake pan with paper baking cups.
2. In a small bowl, use a wooden spoon to combine flour, baking powder and salt.
3. In medium bowl, mix together sugar and softened butter. Add egg and mix well with a whisk. Blend in vanilla. Add 1/2 flour mixture and mix well.
4. Spoon batter into baking cups, filling 3/4 full.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove cupcakes and let cool.
6. Frost cupcakes with your favorite frosting (I also have a recipe for frosting from scratch if you want...leave a comment)
