On a happier note, before the little thunderstorm on Tuesday we had a fun trip to the Kansas City Zoo. Grandpa David, GrandMa Rie, Uncle Zac (he's 6), & Auntie Karly (she's 2) came to visit from Price, Utah so they joined us on our little excursion. It was so great to have them there!!
I had absolutely no idea how amazing this zoo would be. We were there for 4 hours and only saw the "Africa" Exhibit!! Thats only 1/2 of the zoo! (maybe even less then half) We are definately going to have to go back as a family and see the rest of it.
Some highlights of the day:
We arrived at the zoo and the kids immediately ran to this elephant statue.

I packed a lunch and we went to Africa to eat it :)
While in Africa some of our favorite animals were hippos & crocs:
What are these two cute little meerkats waiting for?? That's easy..Elise to throw another handful of banana chips into their exhibit! They were going crazy begging for some more and Elise was so upset that she wasn't allowed to feed them cause she was sure they were starving in the zoo!
We walked alot...

We got tired...

Liam always has his eyes open so wide. I can't believehow much he is awake. I'm so jealous that you guys have such an awesome zoo. I love zoos and I refuse to go to our "zoo". It's too pathetic. You look great and I love the monkey backpack to the zoo.

I am jealous. And I agree with angie... you are a brave woman! Liam is a dang cute little baby!
Elise has the same monkey leash as Talan!!! He hates it though, unless it isn't on him. He likes to carry it around the house, but knows when it goes on all fun stops.
