My beautiful Elise Natalya turned 5 yesterday. Needless to say its been a busy several weeks in our house...thanksgiving, baptism, 5th birthday party....ward party coming up this weekend, and then christmas the next week after. We'll probably get a rest sometime around mid-January!!
Elise chose to have a "Pink Party" for her birthday. Everything was pink, everyone wore pink, the food was pink (pink poptarts, cookies, strawberry milk and pink cake) the decorations were pink...we played "Pink" games...Let's say we were all tickled pink haha! Anyhow, in honor of my little girls birthday as I do with every other birthday...
5 random things I love about Elise:
1. Elise is so goofy!! She makes me laugh with the silly things she comes up with.
2. Elise loves to cook whether it be on her little play kitchen or making smoothies with mommy, if it has to do with food and kitchens she is there!! (She was even a chef for Halloween!!!)
3. Elise knows when she needs a nap. She hardly takes one but on those days when she is getting cranky she will just walk herself up to her room without telling anyone and take a nap. We will be searching for her and we will find her in her room asleep!
4. Elise gets excited about even the littlest things! She is such a ball of bubbly fun
5. She laughs at her own jokes (which generally make no sense) but its so cute! Her newest joke goes something like this:
Knock, Knock
Who's There?
Orange
Orange Who?
Orange--You ate it!
(and then she starts giggling and giggling...its so cute to hear her giggle!!!)

I actually laughed at that knock knock joke... it was pretty dang funny.
But reading those random things sounded a lot like Andy... seriously, he likes to cook and laughs at his own jokes and he definitly knows when he needs a nap.
She is getting more and more beautiful every year..... =]
