Well that was a nice attempt at a photo challenge, huh? BUT (I don't think you're supposed to start a sentence with but...) BUT, in my defense I have a really, really good reason for not following through with it....(insert awesome excuse here)
You see, for Christmas my sweet husband got me an awesome iPhone 4s. The dumb thing about the iPhone 4s is that it's made entirely of breakable glass stuff and if you have any clue how awesome I am to my phones you know that a glass-ish phone is probably not the best gift for a person like me. So my sweet husband also bought me an Otter Box Defender which is supposed to be the toughest of the tough cases, nearly indestructible, they dare you to drive a car over it. I was so happy with my little phone all snug in its case from the second he purchased it until about a month ago when I was sitting in church and I happened to look down at my phone and noticed through the little vanity window that showed off the apple symbol on the back that my phone had a very fine crack in it. My beautiful iPhone that had not been removed from its indestructible, impenetrable case EVER. How in the world did this happen?! I was so shocked but afraid to see if there was any further damage so I left it in the case and began to mope. Luckily, my super intelligent husband knew that with me anything was possible and with that foresight he had purchased a special insurance from Best Buy for the iPhone that would allow me to get a replacement should anything happen to it, no questions asked. We pay $16 a month for that sweet little piece of mind and I'm so, so glad he did.
Anyway, we tried to take the phone in to Best Buy but they did not have any loaner phones available so we had to wait and wait and wait. Finally they had a phone available for me so I backed up my iPhone and then took it to the store. They traded my phone for the saddest looking android phone ever with the poopiest camera ever. It was awful. So therefore (long, long story short) I could no longer Instagram and keep up with the photo challenge. Isn't that a tragedy?
To make matters worse when I received my new iPhone a week later (last Saturday) and attempted to restore it from my back up it didn't work and I have now lost all my contacts and calendar information. So now that I have my phone back I'm too busy trying to get it back to normal to take any photos for the challenge.
I know you love to see all the many adorable photos I post, right? And your are sad and missing them, right?
Does this help?
