Greens, greens, nothing but greens...

So last night we decided that we have weird children. We've known this for quite some time (weird parents breed weird children) but it was quite apparent at dinner last night.

1. Before dinner started we set the table. Plates were ready and a big bowl of broccoli and cauliflower was placed in the center of the table. As I was rounding up the kids I turn back toward the table and there is Liam sitting on the table sneaking some broccoli!! What 2 year old sneaks broccoli?? Weird!

2. The prayer was said, the food was served and everyone was enjoying their dinner...All of a sudden Ashlynne says, "Mom, you're hogging the Edamame!" What 11 year old even cares if their mom hogs the Edamame?! Weird I tell you!!

3. Dinner continues and out of no where Julianna let's out a cry. Brinton stole one of the broccoli florets off of her plate! What 5 year old cries because someone takes their broccoli away? What 9 year old steals broccoli from their sister....to actually eat it?! Weird, weird, weird.

I'm glad they love their vegetables enough that they will fight over them, but it's seriously weird how much they love them.

What mother complains that their kids love their vegetables?!?!?! WEIRD!!!

It could be worse, right?!

That is so cute! Isaac loved veggies when he was two and now I have to force them down his throat. He doesn't seem to like to eat anything these days. Hope that yours will keep it up.

That's awesome! My son and I fight over the edamame. It's pretty funny. My kids also really like broccoli and cauliflower, so we eat those often. :) Yay for weird kids!

I have strange kids as well. They love their veggies! I have never given them edamame as I am allergic, but I would bet they would enjoy that too. I love hearing stories of kids eating healthy without a fight(with us parents that is).

You know, my kids also loved veggies when they were younger- but not fruit. Now that they're older they even like fruit.
Keep feeling them well :)
