Biking Across PH....

Ashlynne had been reading an "American Girl" book and got the idea to start a Bike Club with the neighborhood kids. Our next door neighbors helped organize and had just returned from "Biking Across Kansas," which is an 8 day bike trek across the whole state of Kansas. So with their expertise and planning we had our own little "BIKING ACROSS PH" named for our community, which even included an overnight camp out in our front yard! The kids rode for nearly 3 miles through our neighborhood, they had a "SAG" (support & gear) stop where they got water, snacks, and a quick rest, and then they ended in front of the house where they were greeted by their own little "tent city" and ICE CREAM. It was such a success we decided to do it every year. Needless to say the kids can't wait to do it again next year!
