On Labor Day we decided to venture out of Olathe, KS and into the big wild yonder that is Kansas City, MO. Armed with our entertainment books and coupons for discounted tickets for Science City, we made our way to Union Station. *STOP* Coolness Alert!! Union Station is a fully restored train station, originally built in 1914. Roughly one MILLION (I said million, here people) travelers passed through the station at it's prime!! Cool huh? I could hardly contain my excitement...i'm such a history geek.
So back to the story...We arrived at Union Station and after looking around and taking in all the coolness we went to the bottom floor where they have SCIENCE CITY. There is a bagillion things to do there...dig for dinos, go "into" the sewer system to see how it works, play with a gigantic water table, be astronauts, make music, rooms full of optical illusions...you get the picture. We even caught a laser light show!!! Of course no post would be complete without a ton of pictures to make you feel like you were part of the action. Enjoy!

oooooooooo That place looks like a lot of fun.
I too am a science geek... I love those kind of places. Not only do the kids have fun but the adults do too! I wish they had more great places like that here in Vegas!
