As Promised...Pics from the Trip....

First let me say that I took over 300 pictures and I would so like to post them all but in all fairness I decided to just pick a few so as not to bore you to tears! The trip through Kansas, Colorado and into Utah (with our final destination being Price, UT) took us a little over 16 hours...something like 1009 miles and we drove it all in one day!! (Never again!) The trip from Price to Thermopolis, WY was like 9hours....then we left from Thermopolis and drove to Gotthenburg, NE which was like another 9 hours...(just shoot me now)...we stayed overnight in a little cabin in Gotthenburg and then continued on our merry way through the rest of Nebraska into Iowa, Missouri and finally Kansas which took roughly 6 hours!! I'm not doing that again anytime soon! (But we had loads of fun doing it!) (these pics are totally unretouched because I will never get them up if I take the time to try and retouch them now...sorry!)

We went to the Dino-Mine Park in Price...the kids all started to play this game where there was a storm coming and they were taking shelter and gathering supplies!



We only had the chance to go into Salt Lake for a quick day trip and we had to pack ALOT into that day...sad that we didn't get all things we accomplished that we wanted to do but I did get to visit with my dear friends Sarah & Megan for lunch. It's become a summer tradition and we get a picture each time so maybe when we are like 60 and still having summer lunches together it'll be fun to go back and look at these photos! :)

From Utah it was on to Thermopolis, WY the largest natural mineral springs in the world...(or something like that) It was so relaxing Liam fell asleep in his Nana's arms!! We even got to see some Buffalo just over the hill from the springs!
