Elise : Mommy can we go to Kennedy Space Center?
Me: (baffled that she knows what that is) Probably not honey, why do you want to go there anyway?
Elise: Because I can get in a rocket and go see Jesus
Me: Oh really?
Elise: Yeah, he is taking too long to come back and I wanna see him now!
Me: Well honey its not time yet...
Elise: I just don't wanna look at his picture anymore mommy, I wanna see him for reals! Is he really real mommy? I've never seen him
Me: Just because you can't see him doesn't mean he isn't there Lisey...
Elise: Oh I know mommy...(long pause)...So can you take me to Kennedy Space??
Me: (big sigh....)

what a sweet conversation. it totally reminds me of a time when Nathan was like 3 or something and I was having to force him to be in his car seat and explaining how important it was to be safe in the car. he basically came back with maybe it wasn't such a bad thing to die in the car cause then he would be with Jesus. i think he even said that he could jump out of the car when I was driving so he could see Jesus again. SERIOUSLY! i had totally forgot about that all till just now. crazy kids.
