Sometimes I long for those carefree days when it was just Jeremiah & I and the only decisions we had to make were whether to check out a late night movie (without having to secure a babysitter) or going to the park and actually getting to enjoy the swings ourselves instead of pushing one of the kids higher, higher, higher...
I am so blessed to have my beautiful little family but on days like this, when the laundry is clean but the folding is piled to the sky, and the kids toys are strewn all over the house, and I can hear complaining and murmuring from the other room about which barbie gets which dress and how spiderman has to be the barbies son this time..... a little part of me wishes I could go back to 1999 and just be free.....
