I chopped it...

On Sunday I was trying to flat iron my hair and it would not take shape, it had become too long. So yesterday I went to work with a nasty ponytail because my hair refused to cooperate. Last night I took some drastic measures and went to Great Clips (that in itself was a drastic measure) and I had 4 inches taken off my hair!! I showed the hair dresser the basic idea of what I was looking for, took off my glasses and she took it from there. Now let me tell you that I have HORRIBLE vision...I'm -5.50 in both eyes and I can't see more than 2 feet in front of my face. Right now I am out of contacts so I have been forced to wear my glasses everywhere. I only tell you this to illustrate the fact that while getting your hair cut your are unable to wear glasses thus making it extremely hard to see what she is doing. When she was done I put on my glasses and thought...Nice enough...she didn't really style it so I figured I would play with it this morning. Jeremiah's only comment was..."It's Short" so I never really figured out if that was good or bad. Generally I spend about 5-10 minutes doing my hair today it was about 25 minutes to make it look right. I've got some wierd layering going on and I'm not sure how it was parted when it was cut so I don't know if I'm even doing it right. I worked with it as much as I could and hopefully it doesn't look to bad. Maybe I'm just still getting used to the change?! Any thoughts??
